I’ve heard MVP tell his life-story a couple of times now. That said, I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of him telling it. Really exciting story and a great wrestler.
On the subject of people with a past, Snoop dog does guest spots on nickelodeon kid’s shows and shows up on martha stewart, and also has an adult video award and his old albums.
Completely unexpected. I’ve always enjoyed MVP in the ring, but respected his candor about his life and hardships, was surprised by the dig on Tupac, and blown away that he endorsed Cowboy Bebop. Great episode, please do have him back on. I’d love just an hour of what life has been like in New Japan.
Great interview. I’ve heard MVP’s story a couple times before but it never in this much detail. He’s been through some pretty crazy stuff but come out a better man. Great guy and a exceptional wrestler.
I’ve always felt like MVP was a cool dude, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. I knew he was a video game fan, but had no idea he was an anime fan, it was a pleasant surprise. This episode has cemented me as a fan.
