I havent heard this podcast but I hope Nigel talk about why he got out. Keep up the good work Colt.
I know this doesn’t really count for anything but I want a book by Nigel, and a 60 hour dvd set (though less would still be great too). I followed his RoH career intensely during some miserable years and having something to latch onto that can bring joy and some escapism can help so much, and watching him did that.
you should call the dvd road wrestling diaries too: electric boog a loo… listen to me, my word are gold
I love redtube!!!
im starting to do drugs
the last known student of Lou Thesz was a guy named Mark Fleming, he worked a lot in UWF-i for Akira Meda In Japan , NAWA for sandy Scott and , Crockett. now coaches wrestling in Virgina
Really interesting interview, especially enjoyed the farting discussion. Thanks Colt
hes right about the farting stuff. i agree 100%
I’d be very interested in reading a book from Nigel. I know there’s other more cerebral fans like myself who would love it, too. There ARE people out there who still care and who would truly enjoy hearing the story of one of their favorite wrestlers. This guy will be remembered for a long time among the truly hardcore fans and wrestlers alike. The sacrifice all you guys make for our entertainment is incredible. Who knows why you do it? Who knows why we like it?
This is definitely one of the great podcasts you’ve done, Colt. This made me look at wrestling in a different way, and has even furthered my appreciation for what it is you guys do. Let Nigel know he touched at least ONE fan whenever you see this, that his words didn’t fall on deaf ears. Thanks.
Mcguinness is one of ym favourite wrestlers, shame his career ended just as he was making TV.
next time nigel says he is not sure if he will be remembered, remind him when he first started on impact, he was voted 2 weeks in a row for a title match because the fans were in control of the voting process. Doesn’t that tell you how much we wanted him to be on tv? =P Still one of my favs next to colt. PLEASE DO NOT STOP THE PODCASTS, ITS MY LIVELYHOOD!!! lol only thing that keeps me sane at work lol
